第一屆國際永續發展研討會（ISDC 2020）將於2020年11月27日至28日在國立屏東科技大學（NPUST）, 屏東, 台灣舉辦。會議召開日期適逢智慧農業專業高等教育機構成立96週年。自2014年以來，連續6年被UI GreenMetric世界大學評為台灣第一綠色大學，並在2014和2019年分別被評為亞洲第三和第六。
特別在NPUST邁向百年紀念之際，ISDC成為一個以合作目標的平台，促進跨科際，跨領域和國際合作。 ISDC 2020的首要主題是「我們共同的未來」。選擇這個廣泛而重要的主題是歡迎各種學科甚至非學術領域的從業者，來討論在人類世時代我們共同未來的主題。
為了促進永續發展跨學科領域的全球最佳實踐和創新研究的交流，本次會議分為四個主題，與四所NPUST合作夥伴大學–在印尼的University of Brawijaya (UB)和IPB University，在泰國的Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) 和在馬來西亞的Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) 。我們也特別高興地邀請Kasetsart University(KU), International Association for Agriculture Sustainability（IAAS）和University Network for Tropical Agriculture（UNTA）加入成為我們的協辦組織。
我們熱誠邀請世界各地的合作夥伴和研究人員利用這次學術交流的機會來台灣拜訪我們，組建國際和跨學科的研究團隊，共享研究成果，共同發揚光大。TOGETHER, We can HELP.
